  • 6 Eggs


  • Fill a pan with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil
  • Use a spoon and lower each egg into the water
  • Soft-Boiled: 8 minutes
    Hard-Boiled:10 minutes
  • While eggs are boiling, prepare a bowl with water and ice.
  • Remove from pan to ice bath to stop cooking and let cool.
  • Move to the fridge for at least 30 minutes.


The reason for the ice bath is to stop the cooking at the right stage.
The reason to put it in the fridge is to ensure cooking process has stopped, but it also makes peeling them much easier.
